How We Work

The system is the product. These are the ways we install it.

Lighthouse sells two things — a sales system, and the capability to run it. Fractional Sales Director and Sales Head On Demand are not separate products. They are the three ways that system gets installed inside your business.

Choose Your Install Mode

Same system. Three levels of hands-on.

Pick based on how much of the running you want to do yourself.

Advisory Install

We build the playbook, train your managers to run it, and step back. You own the execution from week nine.

  • Best for: founders with a capable second line
  • Cadence: 8–10 weeks, then optional review retainer
  • Lightest touch, fastest handover

Fractional Sales Director

A part-time Sales Director owns the install and stays for the quarters that follow — strategy, pipeline architecture, pricing and monthly accountability.

  • Best for: plateaued or founder-dependent sales
  • Cadence: 2–6 days a month, 6-month minimum

Sales Head On Demand

An embedded Sales/BD Head runs the team on live deals while the system goes in — hiring, reviews, coaching — then hands to a leader we help you develop or recruit.

  • Best for: 5–50 reps with no strong sales management
  • Cadence: 1–3 days a week, 6–12 months, defined exit

Enterprise and PE-backed businesses install the same system at multi-BU scale — historically sold as our Commercial Excellence programme, now the enterprise tier of the Sales Success Playbook.

The Sequence

From first call to compounding revenue

Every engagement runs the same order. System before skills — always.

1. Scorecard

Free, six minutes, no call. Fifteen questions across the six systems of a working sales engine. You get a score and a diagnosis.

2. Leak Audit

Two weeks. We put a rupee number on every place deals are dying. Fixed fee, credited in full against the Playbook.

3. Playbook Install

Eight weeks. We reverse-engineer your top performers and turn what they do into a documented system your company owns.

4. Academy

Certify every seller and manager on the playbook. New hires enter a 90-day ramp instead of a nine-month guess.

5. Sustain

Quarterly governance, playbook versioning and recertification — so the system survives attrition and market change.

What You Can Expect

Six metrics, agreed on day one

We do not report attendance or satisfaction. Every engagement is scored on the same six numbers, baselined before we start and reported every fortnight.

Qualified pipeline

Volume and value of opportunities that meet the agreed qualification standard — not everything someone typed into the CRM.

Win rate

By stage, so you can see where the deal path actually breaks rather than guessing at the end.

Sales cycle length

Median days from qualified to closed, tracked against the baseline we take in week one.

Ramp time

Days from a new hire's start to first independent close. The clearest single proof the system is real.

Forecast accuracy

Committed versus landed. A fact, not a feeling.

Founder dependency

Share of closed revenue that required the founder in the room. The number we most want to see fall.

How Engagements Are Priced

Fixed scopes, a credited entry, and a number after the first call

No price list, on purpose: every scope is sized on the call. But the shape of every engagement is fixed, so you know how you will be buying before you speak to us.

Sales Leak Audit

The audit is priced as a fixed fee with no variation for scope, and the entire amount is credited against your Sales Success Playbook if you proceed within ninety days. If you decide not to proceed, you keep all four deliverables and owe nothing further.

Sales Success Playbook

Eight weeks, fixed scope. Three ways to buy it: the Sales Leak Audit on its own, the Playbook, or Playbook + Install — eight weeks plus a ninety-day installation with manager coaching alongside.

Sales Academy

Cohorts, manager intensives, or an annual licence. Not sold to companies without a defined playbook — ours or yours.

Delivery modes

Fractional Sales Director: 2–6 days a month, 6-month minimum. Sales Head On Demand: 1–3 days a week, 6–12 months, defined exit. Advisory Install: 8–10 weeks, then optional review retainer.

Build Programmes

Outreach Engine: 7-day install, 90-day managed run, handover. Sales Team Build: a 2-week Blueprint, then modules or a bundle, 3–9 months — the Blueprint fee is credited against the modules you go on to buy.

After the twenty-minute call

You will have a number after the twenty-minute call, and a straight answer on which install mode fits — including, sometimes, that you do not need us.

Who We Are Not For

We will tell you when it isn't a fit

Businesses no one has paid yet. Companies wanting a one-day motivational session. Businesses unwilling to give us access to their top performers — because those people are the raw material. If you have paying customers but no outreach or no team, start with a Build Programme — the Outreach Engine or Sales Team Build.
