The S.A.L.E.S. Prompt Formula: Turn ChatGPT Into Your Best Rep

S — Situation

Who you are and what you sell. "I'm a field sales rep selling commercial insurance to SMEs in Pune."

A — Audience

Exactly who this output is for. "This message is for a factory owner, 45–55, price-sensitive, sceptical of insurance."

L — Limitation

The constraints. "Under 60 words, simple Indian English, WhatsApp tone, one question at the end."

E — Example

Paste your best past message so it matches your voice. AI mirrors what you show it.

S — Specific ask

Exactly what you want back. "Give me three variations I can A/B test."

Put it together
